Mundane Monday (of mine): Beach bag

Our regular bag for the day. Every single day of the last 2 months or so, an average of 200 days a year, can we call it a Mundane bag? big enough to carry our tribe ‘s sunscreen, shades, mosquito repellent, bath towels and a bottle of water. Plus my notebook and a blue pen.

Today was 90 F, but it is now raining cats and dogs and summer class will start tomorrow. Believe it or not, I am absolutely welcoming the change. A bit of fresh air, some (well deserved!) Me time and a couple of exciting projects to focus on ..

From tomorrow onwards, my Mundane bag will carry my laptop, petty cash for the jeepney and an espresso, a couple of pens, a large notebook, the usual little packs of milk for the Attilas. And a foldable umbrella. Every other morning, it will only have a yoga mat.

Stay tuned …

Wishing you all an exciting week 😉

(in response to the Mundane Monday Challenge, created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs!)

    1. Special colour for you 🙂 New project starting this WE, on top of all the organisation of the wedding. I did not plan them together, obviously, but they happen to be a match … More this WE 😉
Hope your back is better, take good care X

    1. THanks Denise. This has been part of our uniform for the last months, not bad, huh? 😉
Wishing you a beautiful day dear!

      1. Yes, having spent many joyous and carefree summers at the Shore, I thought the same thing! Someone has to do it right?:):):) Love the Yoga mat too!!

      2. Yes, some has to do it 😉 It’s a tough job, having to wear flip flop all day.. Your pict are really beautiful btw, I really enjoyed your last post.
Yoga mat all set in its new bag, funny how you get hooked to yoga when you really start understanding it, beyond the physical exercise .. Namaste ;))

      3. A lot of freedom is found in the breathing! Memory empowered too:) Thank you for your enthusiasm, we traveled at the end of April and completely threw me off my routine! Especially with SO many dark rainy mornings before school. Now the sun shines and it is time to refresh again!! :):):)

      4. Cheers to more and more sun and happy refreshing times :)) I can feel all your good and positive energy in your message, and it is contagious!

    1. It was a real candid shot actually. The reflection made me smile, it really showed where we were and how our day was like: relax and sunny 🙂
