We all know we need to take our practice seriously, be properly aligned, articulate our breathing with our moves ..
But I feel that we too often forget to leave the door open to some fun: it’s ok to laugh (discretely) at the ways some teachers overdo everything (as if they just had been released from the most radical ashram), or to be on your body’s side by not even wanting to try some ridiculously inhumane postures.
Did you know that laughing strengthens the immune system, reduces pain and lowers stress. More contagious than a cough or sneeze, a good laugh relaxes the whole body. It triggers the release of endorphins, promoting an overall sense of well-being ? There is even a statue of the Buddha laughing. It is said to act as a good friend; whenever we are off the track, his smilig face can bring us back to the present moment, to a positive mood.
Watch this video, you’ll get my point 🙂
Wishing you all a funny and sweet week ! Namaste 🙏❤️
Thank you….I so needed to laugh out loud this weekend!

Great reminder to laugh.
In Hanoi, early morning we joined in with a group of women doing laughing yoga. We had an absolute blast! Am sure you will love it!

Thanks for the link Peta, you are paving my way there 🙂 I already got the schedules of Zenith and I’ll definitely try this smiling yoga 😀
I had tried it once in India but it was a bit too much for me. You really had to laugh, not smile, like really laughing! For the typical cynical Frenchie I was back then, it was too much of a cultural shock 😉
The video really make me laugh too, so familiar !
Have a beautiful day ahead X
