What a lovely way to start the week!
After all the rains and the winds of the week end, the sun had an amazing energizing effect. I took this picture on our little cruise back to Cebu. The people I love most were all sleeping beside me, made me so grateful and aware of all the shiny possibilities… Have a beautiful week my dear 🙂
Oh I am so glad it all worked out well!!! Thanks, this week is starting off on a great note already:))) Sending you loads of smiles!
It’s a lovely quote FOS. It goes with two others that continue the theme:
A ship in a harbour is safe, but this is not what a ship is built for. ~ Grace Hopper
We should be ready to change our views at any time, and slough off prejudices, and live with an open and receptive mind. A sailor who sets the same sails all the time, without making changes when the wind changes, will never reach his harbour. ~ Henry George
Thanks FOS, they are so perfect. Don’t be surprised if I give them more promo by using them in some future post.. 😉 The second one is talking to my heart, “to live with an open and receptive mind”. I could not set the same sails all the time, I need to break my routine even when I going to buy bread. The only thing I haven’t tried yet is to reach the place walking backwards 😉 Wishing you the warmest harbour, always 😉
What a cool shot! I always love this quote. 🙂 Thank you for the reminder.
Thanks Amy! Words of wisdom to kickstart the week, no ? 😉
how very true that is – many thanks for posting and reminding me of it again 😉
Have a wonderful week,
Hubert
Any time 😉 A good reminder to start the week, indeed! Wish you a grande one 🙂
I would love to love by this quote! Such an inspiring one. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
My pleasure 🙂

Oh YEAH 😀 Not so sure I want to head back to Europe..
