“Congrats for the Versatile Mommy Blogger Award!!!” shouted my friend Ann.
A “Mommy’s” award? really? doesn’t it sound a bit cheesy to you, honestly?..
You have no idea of all those things that used to sound cheesy in my single years B.C. (Before Children). But the moment the Attilas landed into my life, Cheesy turned into Sweet. “So sweet, so cute, soooo precious”.. yep, this is me now. I even make eatable cookies!
(note: I still have red lipstick of course, an old pair of dusted Louboutin. Just have to find out where..)
Does it sound cheesy if I confess that Ms Attila made my day this morning just by saying “I am so lucky because my Mum is so cool!“? not sure what she meant by that, I should have checked my stock of M&Ms, but it did the trick. Will you eyes roll if I tell you how thankful and blessed I am feeling each time Mr Attila offers me a flower (although I told him a thousand times not to pick them up)? Cheesy, I know..
Those guys are my gurus, the loves of my life. They teach me the meaning of “unconditional love”, how to become a better person every single day (and a faster one: shower, hair and make up in less than 10′. Audience included. Try to beat that!).
I don’t even mind the functional brain cells I have traded for my kids. Since I have became a “stay at home” Mum, my social skills have totally vanished. But I am fluent in poopoo, pipi and know all Frozen songs by heart! I became a much more cheaper date: I don’t fancy exotic vacations any more, I’ll be ecstatic with one trip to the bathroom by myself.
My kids are my best cardio and yoga coaches: who need Sivananda to learn how to twist when you can naturally carry a screaming toddler, two gallons of milk, talk on the phone while confirming that “yes, darling your pooh really look like Olaf, Nothing will happen to him if we flush, he’ll fly right to Anna, I promise!“.
Truth is, I do cherish my cheesy life !!!
So thanks again Ann for this very precious award I am sharing with my accomplices! 🙂 It really means a lot.
We have decided to bend the rules a little bit. We follow so many great blogs (scroll down my blog for the list), we could not just select 15. So the Award goes to all the inspiring bloggers out there who make me laugh, think, travel and feel normal! Congrats!

Super !!!
Aww, I love this post. And I was totally *not* a kids person before I had my son. And I told my friends who didn’t have kids they didn’t have to fake enthusiasm over my child, because I totally understand. 😀
Hehehehe, so me too!!!
Eyyy! Well done lovely! Congratulations! Great you’re getting the recognition you deserve!
Thanks soooo much :)X
A joyful, brainy, sweet, energetic, modern-life, mommy, and LOVING post! Only you, dear Estelea, could do this! Proud of your award, and mostly proud of you! The Attilas love you and that’s the biggest reward that you deservedly receive for your UNCONDITIONAL love for them! Bravo, my dear Estelea!!! 🙂
Oh thanks so so much dear Fabio 🙂 You never know the meaning of Unconditional love until you have children. They are indeed the most precious awards of all! you know very well the feeling, right? 🙂
You said it all, Estelea! You all have a GREAT day and take care! 🙂
Very cheesy indeed. Congratulations too 😀
Cheesy is the new Classy ;)) Thanks dear !!!
who says? You only? 😛
It’s called Positive Thinking 😉
Good to know 😉
Lol! Poo looking like olaf?? Too funny!!! But your an awesome cheesy, sweet and fabulously lovely mom! 😘😚
True, his pooh looked like Olaf!! I have to admit he was right on this one! It’s gonna be so hard to come back to work one day, I lost most of my grown up vocabulary.. THnks again for the award ❤
NO cheese there just so darn sweet. Love it.
Oh thanks so very very much 🙂
Sincere congratulations, you deserved it! Your posts are like lovely songs, they bring positive thoughts, they are like dessert after nice meal! I do enjoy every time! Your children are really lucky and you are lucky because you have your precious gifts! Well-done!
I was about to write my comment when I read yours and found all words I needed. I join you in praising Estelea for the deserved award. Thanks.
❤ ❤ ❤ to you Ladies!!!
❤️
That’s such a sweet compliment, you have no idea how much I appreciate it! THanks a billion XXX
Anytime!
And I cannot forget to say how much I love your analogies. A trip to the bathroom by myself was genius!
These kids are blessed with having you and vice versa. One happy family. And Dad is included too, of course.
Very beautiful and heartwarming post my friend!
It is so true, a trip to the bathroom all by myself has became my ultimate fantasy!
Funny what you say about Mr Attila Sr, he recently “complained” that I was not featuring him enough.. Then I received a couple of invitations to write for Single Awesome Mums! 😛
I will make sure I include him a bit more 😉 (oh, maybe I should pitch him a beautiful story of a super Dad finally opening the door of Tiffany’s 😉 That would be an awesome post! )
Have a beautiful week end!!
What a great fantasy! I wish you can realize that more often!
Wow, Mr Atilla Sr deserves a post too! Tell him that he’s praised too when you talk about your kids. The way you both educate them speaks for itself. It takes two to tango. We know that. But include him a bi too to make him happy! He could facilitate that indeed by going to Tiffany’s! What’s he eating for? That’s the trigger to be featured as a special guest!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Mine is smooth so far! Thanks.
Hugs.
Awesomeness!!!

My dearest Estelea, I’m sorry for just getting around to responding now..I had read your post the other day and had a huge smile on my face for the award you won!
What really and truly touched me where the words you wrote and the photos you posted here about the joys of motherhood and the happiness you feel inside and out, being the mom of two amazing children!
I swear I got choked up reading…how spectacular to be surrounded by such love and gratitude…and I laughed when I read about the little “Olaf”!
Thank you for reminding me about the joys of life!
Much love,
*Lia
Olaf has been one of the best of the week of the week, I must admit 🙂 close second was I helped Ms Attila dressing up and she told me “you helped me with my trousers today so later, when you ll be old , I ll help you with yours”. I totally freaked out and renewed my yoga membership in the following hour 😛
Big big sunny hugs xxx
LOL! Your daughter is so cute! Yes, with a remark like that, I too would flashforward in my mind to later years!
PS: I admire your yoga…I’ve got to get back into it…hopefully this summer!!
Sunny sunny hugs right back to you!
my yoga has been mostly intentional those days, to be really honest. Back to it tomorrow at 9AM, care to join?
Yes! I’ll be there at 9am sharp to join youuuuu!
Perfect! that’s my gal 😀
